Leslie Lakes provides you with a continuation of professional care, which includes our skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, Independent Living apartments and Alzheimer’s Neighborhood. We are located in a peaceful, country atmosphere. If you enjoy the outdoors, there are walking paths, beautiful flowers and trees, ducks to feed, and fishing to enjoy!
A professional staff of nurses and certified nurse aides provide quality care 24 hours a day in our retirement center. Our medical director is on call to coordinate all levels of care. Our full range of nursing services in our skilled facility includes short-term rehabilitation, long-term nursing; rehabilitation by professionally trained, licensed therapists (occupational, physical and speech), and a restorative therapy program.
Leslie Lakes Retirement Center offers the community an Alzheimer’s Neighborhood, called Wisteria Lane, which is located inside the retirement center. Residents can enjoy programs that are individually planned for residents living in the neighborhood. Residents living on Wisteria Lane enjoy strolls in the beautiful and serene courtyard. The staff at Leslie Lakes try to help relieve some of the stress a caregiver bares while trying to help their loved one through this difficult time. Our Alzheimer’s Neighborhood was uniquely designed and decorated for the individual with dementia, especially Alzheimer’s. We provide a safe and simple environment, which a person suffering with Alzheimer’s needs.
A beautifully furnished Hospice suite served by trained Hospice staff offers the medical attention needed at this time as well as emotional and spiritual guidance to the families and their loved ones.
The activity directors at Leslie Lakes Retirement Center keep you hopping with plenty of fun, entertainment, outings, Bible Studies, Wii Games, and much more! Our owners and administrators live and work in the Northeast Louisiana area. They bring many years of management experience and dedication to keeping Leslie Lakes Retirement Center and Independent Living Apartments as warm and inviting as your home.
